Really good ramen, I substituted tofu for Omni and the chef was very accommodating. Enjoyed their sweet potato roll too. Definitely a place worth checking if you haven't already.
Man this place lit af. I'm no vegetarian but this really hit the spot and def put a good name for vegetarian sushi. I had no expectations and was leaning a bit more skeptical / since I've had not had had a good experience with vegan burgers or the like - but this place really takes the cake! It's not that I even cared that it was fish or meat, or what - it was that the flavor was really balanced and really on point! It truly made my mouth buds satisfied and I def would come for more. The miso was delicate and flavorful - with a hint of ginger. The "yoga fire" was delicious - altho, I'd even want it even more spicier! The tempura blossom was bomb, and the hand roll was great as well. Keep it up! Def a good name for vegan sushi!
Absolutely loved every bit of this location and the food. The fact that so many of the dishes were made by them from scratch and fresh ingredients was noticeable and delightful. The staff was so nice and so accommodating even thought the dinner crowd was in full swing. Even thought we ate around 10 different dishes I found myself craving more by the time we had to leave. Additionally it is rare that I eat so much and not feel weighed down by the sheer amount of food. I would happily rate it 10stars if that was only possible. Please open up a location in San Diego!!

servers are very nice, enthusiastic and try hard to keep everyone happy. they probably need one more person/busser to help the dining area. Absolutely love this vegan sushi joint!
Amazing sushi!! Super high quality ingredients and delicious combinations. Even the non-vegans in our group were impressed and will be going back. We got take out but the restaurant looks beautiful inside. Will definitely be back.
Today was my first visit to Kensho. I was looking for a vegan restaurant in the area and was fortunate to find this little gem of a place. Service was top notch - the waiter was kind enough to explain the menu and offer suggestions. The food is amazing and it felt so good to eat "sushi" while sticking to my dietary preference. Everything I tasted was delicious. I highly recommend Kensho and I will definitely return.
5 stars for service, 5 stars for food, and 5 stars for how cute it is.
Every time we go, the food is beyond perfect, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and FAST.
Photos incude the miso squash blossoms, the Bulgogi fries (secret menu, so good!), the yoga fire roll(my fave), the baked salmon roll (wow! This one is also not on the menu), the "I lava you" roll(my bestie's favorite), and the new/revamped shrimp nigiri, followed up by a vegan strawberry ice cream mochi, which I could have eaten 12 of, yum!!!
All vegan, and I haven't seen the owner there the last few times I've gone but she's really nice too. 12/10 recommend, hope they open more locations!
My favorite plant based sushi hands down!!!! I'm here often and enjoy it every single time. Hate the music they play though.
